7 Unplugged wedding signs to remind guests to stay in the moment

October 20, 2020

You've paid for a professional photographer to take gorgeous photos of your wedding day. So, let them do their job without guests ruining their photos by being glued to their smartphones or ipads throughout the ceremony. Guests end up missing out on being present, being in the moment and enjoying the actual ceremony.

Here are 7 Unplugged wedding signs to remind guests to be present and stay in the moment. My faves are number 1 and number 5.

1. "After ceremony, use your electronic devices you can". Yoda.

2. As a courtesy, please turn off all cameras and phones for the duration of the ceremony. Resist temptation. Be in the moment. Stay strong.

3. Oh snap! Thank you for coming. We have but one plea. Please keep our ceremony camera-free. Though our 'I dos" are unplugged, our reception is not. Once we've finished our first dance, you are free to take a shot.

4. The bride and groom request the joyful sight of your smiles without the distraction of electronic devices or cameras, please.

5. There's a girl here taking pictures. We asked her to come. So please rest your cameras. Our ceremony needs only one.

6. Welcome to our unplugged wedding. We invite you to be fully present with us during this special moment. Please, no cameras, mobile phones or other electronics until after the ceremony. Thank you.

7. Welcome to our unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all mobile phones, cameras and any other device and enjoy this special moment with us. Thank you.
