An update on Elana Bailey Photography - June - July 2021

Hey there, I know it has been a while since you have heard from me but I wanted to give you an update on what has been happening at Elana Bailey Photography during June and July. Well, Covid 19 has impacted us all again in July with a 7 day lockdown for all. This meant no weddings, real estate photography or any photography for that matter.

The Wedding Season was completely quiet for me this winter. I am not surprised as the weather has been awful and with Covid 19 still hanging around, it makes it very difficult to plan anything.

I photographed a Baptism and 1st birthday and a family session, complete with Nanna and Pop at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, both in June. July did have a few events booked but these were quickly cancelled when the Level 4 restrictions came in and also once we went into lockdown.

Real Estate Photography was busy for winter in June and July. I have also gained a new client, so I hope to be working with them from August.

Coming up in August, I hope to be photographing a wedding but who knows at this stage. I am hoping that August will see more events being booked, rebooked and held but with Level 4 restrictions, I know that is it going to be difficult for some time. I really hope that Spring will be busy and filled with weddings, events, family portraits and real estate.

I am still loving soft woollen jumpers and scarves, warm furry friends, cosy fires, hot chocolate and marshmallows, hot chips and carbs and reading some of the many books that I have piled up. How about you? What have you been up to this June and July? Or in lockdown for that matter?
